Well it seems forever since I’ve been to a Spa in the UK. The last time I went to the beauty clinic was my last holiday in New Zealand. So you can imagine my delight when I discovered not only that there is in fact a Spa in Derby, but there I can also get a discount! That always makes my day.
I was waiting to go and see a movie at the Quad in Derby when I was skimming through their flyer on member discounts. I had already joined up as a member of Derby Quad a week or two ago, but hadn’t yet read through all the benefits. It turns out that your membership card from the Quad will entitle you to a 20% discount for Spa treatments at Clink Spa that is inside the Cathedral Quarter Hotel. I went down there tonight to pick up a brochure, and the receptionist there was very courteous and polite. The interior decor and surroundings are just gorgeous. I couldn’t help myself, I just had to check out the menu while I was there. The bar downstairs is elegant and intimate and the restaurant upstairs serves breakfast, meals. And yes they also serve Devonshire tea, daily, from 3pm to 5pm.
