This weekend I made it into the House and Garden of Chatsworth. All the times before, I had made it to their farmshop full of delicacies, and for walks around the outside of their property, but had never had the opportunity to go inside. Until this weekend. We had some close friends come to stay with us, and they very kindly shouted us the entrance fee into the house and garden. You have the option to go into either the house, or the garden, or you can go into both for a discounted fee of £11.50.
In the video you will not help but notice a very large number of cars parked on the grass. Chatsworth House is usually busy with visitors and ramblers, but this weekend the numbers had increased many times over due to the Country Fair that was being held over three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The entrance fee to the Fair cost £15 and inside were a range of activities for the family, a classic car display, stands, and also an aeroplane acrobatic show that really was spectacular.
