Back to reality is it? It seems to be. Well its taken a lot of effort on our part but we finally made it out of Italy. The snow in the UK has been pretty but the ice that followed was dangerous to say the least. Many accidents were caused, and we had a near one ourself but fortunately we managed to stop ourself by going off the road into the footpath. We then learnt to stay clear of hills (downward sloping ones) and rerouted our trip in search for flat roads. Yes even though it took longer to get where we were going, at least we knew we would get there in one piece, well that was the plan.
You will never guess it but our suit case finally arrived! Hooray! Who would have guessed. As for myself I had completely given up on it. Small miracles do happen then don’t they?
