Alice’s garden

Saturday 5 June 2010

As we were home for the weekend, and the sun was shining my husband decided to make the most of it and busied himself outside.   While I had been teaching the piano, he was inside the kitchen doing the dishes.  Its annoying that we don’t have a dish washer, but we just need to make do for now.  So after my last student had left, I went through and finished tidying up in the kitchen.  My husband had been growing tomatoes and cucumbers and some herbs from seeds he had bought in town.  It had been a few weeks now that they were sitting in their little pots in the conservatory, and now some of they have overgrown their little homes.
