I am just sitting down with a cup of tea now, and it tastes very good! I’ve found that tea is always essential to wind down on arriving home. This was especially true today after another hectic day!
It started early with a business training session on marketing, on finding clients. I met some very interesting people there and plan to see some of them again shortly.
In the afternoon it was then a mad dash into the city to make tracks to the Spondon Methodist Church hall where the Alzheimer’s Society were hosting their Singing for the Brain, as I am their volunteer pianist. The group I play for meet just once a month and it is great fun! It started at 2pm, and I managed to arrive with five minutes to spare, phew! Between the coffee and chat and singing the group does not finish until 4pm.
Next on the agenda was work, then grocery shopping and dinner and a short rest, before heading back out to dance class! It’s been brilliant exercise and great fun. Tonight we also bought the cd for practice music and have planned some dance practice this Saturday and next Tuesday before the next class!
