What did you eat today?

After church this morning, I had a curious message from our Minister.  He had a grin on his face, as he explained that my husband had told him that he had gone home to start cooking!  It was hilarious.  I had wondered where my husband had disappeared to.  He really must have been very hungry.  Well the rest of the household are all sleeping at the moment.  So I am keeping busy by updating this blog with the weekend’s escapades.

Lunch was very enjoyable today.  We had the classic Sunday Roast.  This consisted of one rather enormous chicken, some capsicums and peppers, onion, herbs, garlic, and potato.  This was followed by my very special lemon and lime cheesecake, and a cup of coffee.

  1. Lunch was a sandwich and fruit – it was far too hot to cook! Dinner, which we have just finished, was baked hake with lemon, olives and roasted vegetables. I am feeling a bit full now, but might have some ice-cream later on.
