Today was THE day. It was the day of the wedding. It was a good feeling to know that we were the guests this time. It meant we could sit back, relax and enjoy!
We started the day with a leisurely breakfast of croissants and yoghurt at the Hotel Palma. I admired the paintings in the breakfast room. Very beautiful !
As the wedding wasn’t due to start until 3.30 pm we had time first to look around town. We left the hotel at 9 am and didn’t return to the hotel until lunchtime, which we enjoyed on the top terrace outside. We had bought mozzarella and Parma ham and baguettes and made our own lunch, and it was delicious!
While in town I was captivated by the fish mongers whose fish were so fresh that they were still alive and flipping and jumping around. Then in the park we saw a professional photographer taking shots, possibly for a first communion? Then the funniest thing I saw was a little dog sitting on a table beneath a painting in front of a butchers! He he
I took this video of Castellammare di Stabia during the daytime. You should see this time Mt Vesuvius in the background and Napoli, Italy.
