That pub thing

Tonight was another one of “those pub night”(s) and it was rather special indeed. We had a lot of variety with the music with film classics and songs spanning the decades.

Liz gave a spectacular performance demonstrating her powerful vocal abilities. As usual we were given brilliant renditions by Neil on the bass and Clive on the keyboard.

A good night out to catch up with friends over good music with pool (snooker) on hand, board games and similar puzzles and an introduction to New Zealand. A varied and busy evening all round! We had a quiz on NZ trivia and some NZ inspired activities including making and dancing with Maori Poi’s and quite randomly, making your own stretchy bracelet.

  1. Hi Alice,
I have some photographs of you and the Pois. I’m not sure how to post them on here so I’ll put them on Facebook and hope that you’ll be able to get them that way.
