The heat was upon us yet again. Yet we managed to go for a walk nonetheless, armed with our essential sun glasses. Walking up and down hills, and past lots and lots of cars (it is holiday time after all) we eventually made it to our destination – Keddleston Hall.
The walk down the drive way almost seemed to take as long as the walk from town to the Hall itself. Well, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but still, the scale of the parkland is massive. Further details on Keddleston Hall can be found on the National Trust website at http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-kedlestonhall
I’m a fan not just of Keddleston Hall, but also of the pop opera band “Il Divo”. So what a marvellous combination when the two came together in 2006. I found this video below from 2006 showing Il Divo performing at Keddleston Hall. Their act was opened by our New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra according to the BBC article here http://www.bbc.co.uk/derby/content/articles/2006/07/27/il_divo_kedleston_review_hobbs_feature.shtml
